Material: Dead stock fabric from Brixtol Textiles, spring steel, rope, drawstring
In the project Winding Figure I have worked with an architectural structure in the encounter with Brixtol textiles, mixing pattern, colour and form. The inner body of the sculpture is made of spring steel mounted in figure eights, giving it its own inherent tension. A logic and system inspired by the way tents are constructed. A structure in relation to its surroundings, mobile and changing.
